I love this. I love the way the wood on the jetty matches the soft ripples on the water. The clouds, confused and forbidding. And the house. Stable. Sturdy. A calm sanctuary, a bridge between chaos and calm. The lighting and composition did it all.

Thank you very much Michael - the entire mood shifts once the sun comes up. The birds are so so loud and there is traffic right behind where this was taken, I think that's why dawn is so lovely, it's just so peaceful. Thanks again for such a lovely comment :-)
